I recently had the opportunity to fly on the much talked about Airbus A380, unfortunately this was not in business or first class.

The plane has a 3-4-3 layout, but even in coach the seats seems a little wider although leg room is still at a premium.  With a direct flight from LAX to Charles De Gaulle any extra space is greatly appreciated.

Each seat has it's own personal entertainment system in which you can watch movies or TV shows, or listen to music.  There is also a USB connector in which you can also use your phone, iPad, tablet or computer and lessen battery usage.

Food service, like most commercial flights in coach, is rather lackluster.

The ability to fly without a layover is a great convenience, but hopefully I will be able to experience it business or first class next time.
